We are a Global Recruitment specialist that provides support to the clients across EMEA, APAC, US and Canada. We have an excellent job opportunity for you.

Role Title: Junior Test Automation Engineers

Location: Northampton - 2 days onsite per week

Duration: 31/12/2026

Rate: £259 per day (PAYE through Umbrella)

Job Description:

Key requirements:

  • Strong Core Java Fundamentals
    • Excellent knowledge of Collections, Exception Handling, and OOP concepts
    • Strong coding and problem-solving skills
    • Able to write, optimize, and explain Java programs confidently
    • Candidates with only theoretical or outdated Java experience will not be considered
  • UI Automation (Hands-on)
    • Strong Selenium with Java experience
    • Must be able to build XPath/locators independently
    • Experience working with UI automation frameworks
    • Playwright experience is highly desirable
  • API Automation
    • Hands-on experience with REST Assured
    • Experience automating and validating API tests
    • Able to integrate API testing into automation frameworks
  • Automation Framework Experience
    • Experience designing or implementing
