Role Title: Junior Test Automation Engineers
Location: Northampton - 2 days onsite per week
Duration: 31/12/2026
Rate: £259 per day (PAYE through Umbrella)
Job Description:
Key requirements:
- Strong Core Java Fundamentals
- Excellent knowledge of Collections, Exception Handling, and OOP concepts
- Strong coding and problem-solving skills
- Able to write, optimize, and explain Java programs confidently
- Candidates with only theoretical or outdated Java experience will not be considered
- UI Automation (Hands-on)
- Strong Selenium with Java experience
- Must be able to build XPath/locators independently
- Experience working with UI automation frameworks
- Playwright experience is highly desirable
- API Automation
- Hands-on experience with REST Assured
- Experience automating and validating API tests
- Able to integrate API testing into automation frameworks
- Automation Framework Experience
- Experience designing or implementing
