About The Role
Our test facilities play a vital role in supporting the development and validation of our technology. We are looking for a practical and proactive Test Capability Engineer to maintain our test rigs, respond to equipment issues and help ensure our laboratories operate safely, reliably and effectively.
You’ll be the initial point of response for test rig and laboratory process issues, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, resolving issues where possible and escalating more complex problems.
Working with a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll support the build of new test rigs and modifications to existing equipment
You’ll be responsible for regular equipment checks, calibration and audits and for carrying out preventative maintenance on test rigs and supporting equipment.

About You
This is a hands-on position for an experienced engineer who enjoys diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, maintaining complex equipment and working collaboratively to find solutions.
You’ll Bring Experience In
- the maintenance of equipment in a test or production environment, including electro-mechanical assemblies or test rig systems
- reading and referencing mechanical and electrical system drawings, schematics and layouts
- National Instruments control systems
- Working with liquid or gas fuel systems
It’s key to us that you have a proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
