Test Coordinator (Must have DV Clearance)

Job Overview

The Test Coordinator works with the Test manager to ensure that quality is built into development of all solutions at all stages within the programme development lifecycle. The Test Coordinator is accountable for providing expert practice advice and guidance as well as practical advice on complex technical testing issues. They are responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuring, and testing of VBSE solutions. They are also accountable for the operational day-to-day management and maintenance of systems hardware and software related infrastructure, alongside the timely analysis and expedited fault resolution.

Shifts: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)

Role accountabilities

  • Responsible for managing and executing the test strategy for projects incorporating the involvement of 3rd party partners/suppliers and internal teams.
  • Review, evaluate, and turn acceptance criteria into detailed test plans with test cases that have clear scope, quality criteria, and deliverables.
  • Ensure traceability back to requirements and subsequent execution of test cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive root cause analysis to ensure that issues are accurately identified, tracked, reported, and resolved efficiently.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of incidents as needed, ensuring effective management throughout the process.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day secure configuration of all managed Operating Systems and services.
  • Monitor and maintain the RM offer technical support to Customers and colleagues alike.

Knowledge / Skills

  • Experience of designing test strategies to deliver test cycles (SIT, UAT, Non Functional Testing) for multiple releases/projects.
  • Experience in all testing levels (from Unit to Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT)).
  • Experience of upskilling others in test techniques and best practice.
  • Experience of managing multiple workstreams.
  • The ability to manage risk and implement mitigation plans.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing; Or Proven track record in Testing and leading digital teams.
  • Entry-level SAN experience.
  • Windows 2019 server administration.
  • Veritas Netbackup.
  • VMWare 6.5 and above.
  • Cisco and HPE products.
  • DV security clearance required.
