This project entails the design and commissioning of bespoke Test Rigs for various Fuel system projects.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Working with customers to determine top level test objectives
  • Developing responses input requirements
  • Writing test requirements documents, test specifications and test procedures.
  • Schematic Design of the test architecture.
  • Detailed design of test subsystems – in one or more of; Fluid Mech, Electrical, Data Acquisition and control.
  • Safety and Risk assessments.
  • Preparation for design reviews.
  • Project management of suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Running the verification and validation process for the rig prior to EIS (Entry into Service)
  • Support commissioning phase with commissioning test plans, process and reports.

  • Experience of test rig development and commissioning.
  • Prior test experience, ideally in operation of large system level rigs.

Advantageous Skill

  • CATIA / LabVIEW / Avionics.
  • Working knowledge of ATEX / DSEAR / CompEx.
  • Aerospace Test Background.
  • Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering.
  • Aerospace / Aircraft Systems familiarity.
