🚀My client is seeking a Test Engineer to join their Assembly, Integration & Test team, supporting the development of laser communication systems and optical ground stations🚀

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing photonics and space technology company, contributing to the production, integration and deployment of advanced optical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, integrate and test optical and optomechanical subsystems.
  • Support system-level integration and verification of optical ground station products.
  • Perform precision optical alignment and fault finding.
  • Develop and maintain test equipment and ground support equipment.
  • Coordinate component procurement, supplier activities and incoming inspection.
  • Maintain manufacturing documentation, build procedures and inventory.
  • Support customer installations and field deployments when required.

Requirements

  • Experience in optical assembly, integration and test.
  • Hands-on experience building and testing complex optical systems.
  • Strong optical laboratory and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary teams.
  • High attention to detail and willingness to travel internationally.
