Test Automation Leader

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Leader to drive the adoption, rollout and standardisation of modern functional test automation across multiple delivery teams.
The role will focus on automation strategy, tooling evaluation, POCs, reusable frameworks, CI/CD integration and team adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale functional test automation strategies across complex delivery environments.
  • Evaluate and onboard modern test automation and AI-assisted testing tools.
  • Plan and execute POCs, defining success criteria and measuring outcomes.
  • Build and promote reusable automation frameworks, templates and starter kits.
  • Establish automation standards, best practices and lightweight guardrails.
  • Support delivery teams with early adoption and implementation of automation tooling.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Coordinate with QE CoE, product teams, delivery teams, vendors and platform teams.
  • Capture POC/implementation learnings and create reusable guidance and reference implementations.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, test coverage, quality insights and delivery risk.
  • Provide thought leadership around AI, GenAI, AGI and MCP in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
