New Contract Available for an Automotive Test Engineer
Available now is a new contract for an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to join the R&D team of a prestigious luxury vehicle manufacturer in Crewe. Working across new vehicle programmes, you'll support the integration, testing, and validation of Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment & Diagnostic systems.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on role covering:
- Development vehicles & test rigs
- Vehicle software & system integration
- Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment & Diagnostics
- Test planning & validation
- Vehicle log analysis & root-cause investigation
- Component and test bench testing
- Test automation using Python, Robot Framework & Anna Framework
- Working with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve integration issues

Key Requirements
We're looking for someone with strong hands-on automotive experience, ideally gained within an OEM, Tier 1, dealership, or vehicle testing/development environment.
Previous VW Group experience would be particularly advantageous.
What's on Offer
- Crewe, fully onsite
- ASAP start | Contract to 23 December 2026
- 35 hours per week
- Attractive hourly rate (PAYE / Umbrella only)
- Full driving licence required
