- Receiving, logging, storing, and issuing samples and test items.
- Preparing shipments and coordinating sample deliveries.
- Supporting laboratory housekeeping, cleaning, and waste management.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and databases.
- Communicating with clients and internal teams regarding samples and paperwork.
- Providing general administrative support, including filing, scanning, and archiving.
Qualifications
This role would suit someone from a laboratory support, sample management, administration, logistics, scientific support, healthcare, quality, or customer service background who enjoys working in a highly organised environment.
You'll be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing paperwork, data, and multiple priorities.
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Interested in supporting scientific work, without necessarily being a scientist.
- No previous laboratory experience is required, although experience within life sciences, healthcare, GMP/GLP, or regulated environments would be an advantage.
