MUST HAVE TESTED THE VIPR PLATFORM

🚨 Contract Test Lead (Outside IR35) | London Market Insurance | Hybrid (Leadenhall, 3 days per week) 🚨

I'm currently supporting a leading insurer on the search for a hands-on Contract Test Lead to join a major transformation programme focused on migrating business from BinderCloud to the VIPR platform.

⚠️ This role requires proven, hands-on experience testing the VIPR platform. Candidates without direct VIPR testing experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the end-to-end test strategy, approach, and execution
  • Leading UAT and go-live testing activities
  • Validating data migration, reporting, and business processes
  • Coordinating testing across system integrations and business functions
  • Managing defects, reporting progress, and driving programme sign-off
  • Bringing Business and IT together under a single testing framework

We're looking for someone who can roll up their sleeves and get involved in the detail. This is not a people management role. It's a senior individual contributor position requiring deep testing expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Essential Experience

  • VIPR platform testing experience
  • London Market insurance background
  • Test strategy, planning, and execution from scratch
  • Data migration and transformation programmes
  • UAT and end-to-end testing
  • Test documentation, reporting, and defect management

The programme is currently focused on the migration of Aviation and Marine business lines, with further phases planned throughout 2027, making this a strong opportunity for contract extension beyond the initial term.
