Sparta Global are hiring a Test Lead to oversee quality assurance, automated test frameworks, and deployment validation for a major enterprise platform implementation.

This is an initial 6-Month Fixed Term Contract, with plenty of extensions expected for a long-term programme, requiring 1-2 days per week on-site in London.

Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applicants who have not been resident in the UK for the past five years, or who have spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK during that time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Frameworks: Implement and maintain common test frameworks to speed up application deployments and recovery.
  • Pipeline Validation: Test new Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to ensure secure code delivery.
  • Quality Control: Validate scalability, container performance, and system stability under changing demands
  • Strategy: Define the overarching test strategy for cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automation: Build and maintain common automated test frameworks to accelerate app deployment.
  • Leadership: Manage a team of QA engineers and promote automated-first testing practices.
  • Validation: Test container security, network configurations, and system failover performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps engineers, platform architects, and third-party suppliers.
  • Reporting: Provide clear quality metrics and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
