TEST LEAD
Salary £60,000 to £65,000
Location UK-based with travel
Contract Fixed term to the end of 2027
About the opportunity
A fast-growing international business is building a shared technology function, and it needs a Test Lead to own end-to-end testing on a major regulated national programme.
The platform is made up of several components, each built and tested by its own agile squad. Each squad does its own testing well, but there are no end-to-end journeys to test against, so issues surface late. The client also expects waterfall-style test documentation and sign-off. You would join the two together. It is a fixed term to the end of 2027, covering the build, go-live and hypercare, with no direct reports.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
