Test Lead - £70,000 to £75,000 - Permanent - Bolton (Hybrid, 2 days per week)
This is a permanent role and does not offer sponsorship so candidates must have the full right to work in the UK.
La Fosse are working with a retail client looking for a Test Lead to lead quality engineering across a large-scale transformation. You will shape the test strategy, drive automation adoption, and oversee end-to-end testing activities across multiple workstreams. The role will focus on building robust automation frameworks, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, managing defects and quality risks, and delivering clear reporting to ensure successful releases with confidence.

Key requirements:
- Proven experience defining and delivering test automation strategies aligned to business and delivery objectives.
- Hands-on experience testing CRM, ERP or enterprise platforms (e.g. D365 F&O, WMS) with a focus on automated test coverage.
- Strong expertise in building, maintaining and scaling automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience implementing automated testing across API, integration, regression and non-functional testing, including performance, load and security testing.
- Ability to define, monitor and report on automation KPIs, including test coverage, execution success rates, defect leakage and release readiness.
- Strong understanding of continuous testing, release management and DevOps practices within agile delivery environment
