Role Title: Infrastructure Testing Lead

Location: London
Duration: Until 31/12/2026
Pay Rate: £358 per day all inc. (PAYE through Umbrella)
Sector: Insurance
Days on site: 2-3 days/week on site

Role Description

Infrastructure / Technical Skills

  • Strong Nutanix NC2 / AOS / AHV knowledge (Prism Central/Element, LCM upgrades)
  • Solid VM lifecycle understanding (create/start/stop/delete, snapshot, clone, templates)
  • Networking: VPCs, VLANs/subnets, east–west connectivity, micro-segmentation (Nutanix Flow, NSX DFW concepts)
  • DR & resilience: Nutanix Leap, replication, planned/unplanned failover, failback, RPO/RTO, subset failover
  • Security: RBAC, AD/Entra ID integration, encryption at rest, network security policies, CyberArk, SIEM (Sentinel/Defender)
  • Ops tooling: monitoring and alerting in Prism/x play, Cohesity backups, alert forwarding into tools like OpsRamp
  • Migration: Nutanix move from ESX, restore from backup
