Job Title: Test Lead (Legal Tech / ShareDo)
Location: Manchester
Type: Contract, Outside IR35
Rate: £400 per day
Duration: Long term
Overview
We are looking for a Test Lead to own quality assurance across a ShareDo case management implementation programme. You will define the test strategy, lead delivery through build and release cycles, and act as the bridge between the technical build team, business analysts, and the legal end users signing off the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the test strategy and plans across functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Lead testing of configured ShareDo work types, workflows, forms, and business rules against agreed requirements.
- Coordinate regression testing across release cycles and configuration changes.
- Manage integration testing across connected systems and API touchpoints.
- Facilitate UAT with legal end users and translate their feedback into clear, actionable defects.
- Triage, track, and report defects through to resolution, with clear quality status for stakeholders.
- Contribute to release readiness and go or no-go decisions with evidence-based reporting.

Essential Experience
- Proven Test Lead or Senior Test Analyst experience on complex platform implementations.
- Hands-on testing experience with ShareDo.
- Strong background in legal technology or legal case management platforms.
- Solid grounding across functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
- Confident working with business analysts and non-technical legal users.
- Experience with defect and test management tooling such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Desirable
- Experience with other legal platforms such as VisualFiles, Proclaim.
- REST API and integration testing exposure.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
