Role Title: Data Testing Lead (SAP)

Location: Brighton (4 WFO)

Duration: Until 30/06/2027

Rate: £581 per day (PAYE through FCSA Umbrella)

Role Description:

Data Testing Lead (SAP ECC - PP)

  • Lead and coordinate Business Acceptance Tests (UAT although the client refers to BAT) activities across SAP ECC PP (mainly module), QM and PS (supportive modules), ensuring successful execution of predefined test scenarios/scripts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, key users and process owners throughout the BAT phase.
  • Support business users during cutover and test execution, providing guidance, resolving issues and ensuring timely completion of testing activities.
  • Monitor daily testing progress against plan, identifying risks, dependencies and potential delays, and proactively driving mitigation actions.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status updates and executive presentations, clearly communicating testing progress, key findings, defect trends and overall deployment readiness.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly meetings with client stakeholders to review execution status, discuss open issues and agree on next steps.
  • Coordinate defect management activities, including issue logging, prioritization, tracking and validation of fixes in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
  • Support defect triage sessions, ensuring accurate impact assessment and timely resolution of business-critical issues.
  • Produce and maintain BAT reporting dashboards, including test execution status, pass/fail rates, open defects, risks and readiness indicators.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of a Senior Consultant and a Consultant, ensuring alignment of priorities, quality of deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  • Review testing evidence and documentation to ensure compliance with project governance and audit requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, fostering collaboration and maintaining confidence throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Support go-live readiness assessments by consolidating testing results, outstanding issues, risks and business sign-off status.
  • Contribute to continuous system improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and working closely with the solution architect and technical teams to develop and implement the solution.
  • Operate within a hybrid delivery model, working on-site at the client's UK premises four days per week to support testing execution, stakeholder management and project governance activities.
