About the Role

The role is responsible for leading end-to-end testing across a portfolio of strategic programmes and business-critical change initiatives. The Portfolio Test Manager will define testing strategy, manage offshore testing partners, and be accountable for quality assurance, governance, and test sign-off across multiple deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall testing strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects and programmes.
  • Own delivery of SIT, End-to-End, OAT, UAT, and Non-Functional Testing.
  • Define Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Summary Reports.
  • Manage offshore and third-party testing vendors to deliver against agreed quality and timelines.
  • Oversee test execution, defect management, reporting, and quality governance.
  • Ensure traceability across requirements, testing, and defects.
  • Partner with business and delivery stakeholders to manage risks, dependencies, and testing outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Proven experience in a Test Manager, Senior Test Manager, or Portfolio Test Manager role.
  • Experience leading large-scale testing programmes across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong experience with Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Test Governance.
  • Experience managing offshore testing vendors and distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Functional, Integration, End-to-End, UAT, and Non-Functional Testing.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Insurance experience is preferred
