Role Description
You’ll be responsible for bringing structure and accountability to the full testing lifecycle, from planning and test strategy through to UAT, defect management, quality gates, and final go/no-go decisions. The role would suit someone who is comfortable operating across complex technology programmes and can confidently manage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Key areas include:
- Leading end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems
- Defining test strategy, plans, quality gates, and acceptance criteria
- Managing UAT and business testing teams
- Overseeing third-party and supplier QA
- Defect management, test reporting, and risk mitigation
- Managing test environments, tooling, and resources
- Working closely with Project Managers, BAs, developers, and business stakeholders
- Ensuring testing remains aligned to wider programme timelines and objectives

Qualifications
- 5+ years in Test Management, Test Leadership, or a similar position
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery
- Experience across functional and non-functional testing
- Strong UAT and business testing experience
- Proven experience managing complex programmes involving multiple systems and suppliers
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Azure DevOps experience
- Financial services experience would be particularly relevant, especially across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, or investment management, although this isn't essential.
