We’re looking for an experienced Test Manager to take ownership of testing and quality assurance across a range of technical projects and business change initiatives.

This is a broad IT testing role, covering projects such as finance platform implementations, CRM upgrades and wider technology change. You’ll be responsible for defining what needs to be tested, when testing should take place, who needs to be involved and which tools and approaches should be used.

The Role

You’ll lead QA and testing across multiple projects, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, suppliers and project teams to ensure quality is embedded from the outset.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Define and implement test strategies, plans and approaches across projects and programmes.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from planning through to pre-go-live.
• Determine what needs testing, when, by whom and using which tools and methodologies.
• Lead and support UAT, including test planning, scripts, execution and defect management.
• Work within a DevOps environment, ensuring testing and quality are embedded throughout the development and delivery lifecycle.
• Manage test risks, issues, dependencies and defect resolution.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure effective test execution.
• Ensure projects meet agreed quality standards and are ready for release.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence teams to embed effective QA practices.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure agreed testing standards are maintained.
