Insight Global is looking for a Test Manager to join one of our large cruise line clients! This position will be supporting their Maritime Asset Strategy Transformation (MAST) Programme.
About the Role
For this position, we are looking for someone with hands-on experience, while being Junior to Mid-level within their testing career. This role will be a long-term contract beginning at 6 months (Inside IR35), with the high chance to extend. You will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule, attending the client's office in Southampton, United Kingdom.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Software Testing Experience: Including experience as a Test Lead, Test Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Test Strategy Development: Experience developing test strategies, testing frameworks, and QA documentation to support testing maturity and governance initiatives.
- Web-Based Applications Testing: Strong experience testing web-based applications, APIs, and integrations with external systems.
- Asset Management Systems: Deep understanding of enterprise Asset Management systems, ideally AMOS, AMOS-X, or ITsynch.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Experience managing testing activities across the full project lifecycle, including requirements, planning, execution, defect management, and release support.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to present testing strategies and quality metrics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team Leadership: Experience leading testing teams and removing delivery blockers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Compliance and Best Practices: Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and QA best practices.
