Test Lead / Test Capability Consultant — 6 Month Contract

Location: London (1 day per month on-site, remote otherwise)
Day Rate: £550/day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months

About the Role

We're supporting a partner on a complex digital transformation programme and are looking for an experienced consultant to build digital testing capability from the ground up. This is a hands-on role - you'll be directly involved in test execution using industry-standard tools wherever capability gaps or deadlines require it, while designing a testing framework that spans internal, external, and business testers. Governance and reporting will start lean and scale as maturity grows, and you'll operate as a client-side partner, embedding best practice across suppliers and delivery partners. Working within a small team, you'll bring your broader consulting expertise to bear across product, delivery, and design workstreams as needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
