Our Digital Enterprise Solutions (DES) Department leverages extensive manufacturing know-how for enlightened enterprise systems. The Role

Definition and management of the high-level Test Approach for Programmes/Projects, including advising on the test phases needed to support the relevant Programme / Project, ensuring these activities are delivered within contracted timeframes with regular and consistent reporting

Dimension of Function

Will be responsible for leading and managing Project Teams / Test Teams across multiple domains dedicated to fulfilling EU Delivery Operations.

Area of Responsibility

  • Management of Multiple Teams Resourced within defined Programmes / Projects including onshore / offshore test analyst coordination
  • Develop, and manage all test activities & artefacts within a defined Programme / Project.
  • Ensuring all development / change tasks meet quality criteria through testing strategies, test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking
  • Managing senior stakeholder expectations, work across the whole delivery team (including customer vendors and 3rd party providers) and business area (eg Industril operations, People Chapter) to build trusted relationships to ensure quality across the programme
  • Manage all Defects raised in tooling (Jira)
  • Control Environment deployments

Knowledge / Experience

  • Application of testing lifecycle principles across various Project Management/Programme Management/IT Delivery Management concepts such as SDLC, PMP, Prince2, MSP, Agile, Waterfall, Dev Ops.
  • Release Planning/Strategy – Remarkable Ability to preserve a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies and notification lists
  • Test Execution – Effective in formulating test scripts to implement a full regression test pack during the testing phases.
  • Manage and mentor the testing team in the use of recording tests and results.
  • Resource Management
  • Communication of Test management / Release Details / Maintenance of Release Schedule – Expert in measuring and monitoring progress to ensure delivery of application releases on time and within budget as well as meeting or exceeding defined expectations.
  • Maintaining the release schedule for all core services and ascertaining alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Demonstrable skills in Supplier Management, Risk & Issue Management, Testing Tools, Dev Ops Methodologies, Dependency Management and management of teams
