What Will You Be Doing?
Testing of customer products in accordance with test procedures and scheduled delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing production units in line with test processes.
- Maintaining good inventory control through diligent use of the internal databases.
- Maintaining correct use of internal test assets.
- Using Automated Test Equipment in accordance to Test Procedures.
- To Learn and Perform manual RF measurements of payload equipment and subsystems using equipment such as Power Meters, Spectrum Analysers and signal Generators.
- Check performance of payload equipment against parameters detailed in test procedures and review results for non-conformances.
- Ensuring all correct processes are followed through test with any non-conformances appropriately handled and escalated.
- Raise issues and concerns when line support is required.
- To have an awareness of improvement activities such as 5S, Root Cause Problem Solving etc, which can help improve the overall performance of the line.
- Interact with other personnel and departments to solve problems.
- Reports equipment problems promptly, operate the equipment correctly, comply with established maintenance and schedules and undertake daily maintenance tasks as appropriate.
- Assist Production & RMA Manager in resolution of day-to-day issues.

Key Skills / Experience
- An understanding of Production Test methodologies and disciplines.
- Practical / hands-on Electrical Engineering experience including utilization of relevant instruments. RF Engineering experience not essential.
- Able to work autonomously in a proactive and responsible manner.
- Able to work to Test Procedures but also have the knowledge of debug techniques and methodologies.
- Ability to interpret data to detect and recognize defects and conditions outside of specification.
- Good computer skills to access and update data.
- Good understanding of processes and process control concepts.
- Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing to help diagnose and solve problems.

Additional Details
This is a full-time office-based position and will require the successful candidate to meet the criteria for UK Security Clearance.
