About the Company
We are working with an innovative medical device consultancy specialising in the development, testing and validation of medical and drug delivery devices.
The business works with a range of clients to support products throughout the development lifecycle, from early-stage research and development through to formal design verification, validation and post-market investigations.
The Role
As a Test Technician, you will work within multidisciplinary project teams, supporting a wide variety of testing activities across medical and drug delivery devices.
Reporting to the Head of Device Testing, you will be a key user of the company's laboratories and workshops, carrying out practical, hands-on testing with a high level of attention to detail.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or testing experience who enjoys practical work and is keen to develop their technical skills within the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams in delivering testing activities and project milestones.
- Carry out hands-on testing across projects ranging from early-stage R&D through to formal design verification and post-market investigations.
- Conduct mechanical and functional testing of medical and drug delivery devices.
- Perform environmental stress conditioning, detailed visual inspections and measurements of physical dimensions, weight and force.
- Generate accurate test data and record results in accordance with project and quality requirements.
About You
We're looking for a practical, methodical and conscientious individual with previous laboratory testing experience.

Essential:
- Previous experience successfully conducting laboratory testing.
- Experience working in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Experience creating test data and accurately recording results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
