The Opportunity

Due to organic growth, we are recruiting a Test Technician to join our highly skilled, customer-focused Solutions team. Working independently or collaboratively, you will ensure our filters meet exacting customer requirements through a range of test activities, including functional testing, vibration analysis, heat response, and specification alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use microscopes, scalpels, and fine hand tools to make precision adjustments—manipulating tuning screws and RF tracks—to achieve required amplitude/frequency ranges.
  • Capture and record test data from analysers and other equipment, ensuring all products align with customer specifications.
  • Fault-finding, diagnosing errors, and (where possible) resolving product inconsistencies to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements & Skills

Ideally, you will bring:

  • A confident, organised approach with a genuine desire to learn our quality processes and contribute to achieving standards.
  • Patient and methodical skills, capable of fine-tuning components and positioning them to specification.
  • Problem-solving strengths, enjoying fault-finding and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Engineering or manufacturing experience, exercisable to exacting standards and designs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail—with a commitment to keeping your workspace meticulously tidy.
  • A passion for collaborative teamwork, driving continuous improvement and meeting targets within our motivated Production team.
