Purpose
Testing & Cutover Coordinator will support the delivery of high-quality system implementations by coordinating testing execution and cutover readiness activities across enterprise applications.
Ensures that testing outcomes, data validation, and operational readiness are fully aligned with cutover plans, enabling a controlled, low-risk transition into production while minimising disruption to business operations.
The role sits at the intersection of testing, data quality, and deployment execution, providing coordination across delivery teams, SMEs, and programme governance.
Key Deliverables
- Test execution tracking and reporting
- Data validation and reconciliation logs
- Cutover plan and runbook updates
- Readiness assessments and Go/No-Go inputs
- Risk & issue logs
- Go-live checklist and Hypercare support artefacts
Testing Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate the end-to-end execution of testing across:
- Functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios
- Data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks
- APIs, integrations, and orchestrations
- Support the execution of test plans, ensuring adherence to defined standards and frameworks
- Track test progress, defects, and coverage, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved in line with risk
- Coordinate offshore or distributed testing teams where applicable
- Maintain testing playbooks, templates, and reusable assets

Cutover Planning & Readiness Support
- Support the creation and maintenance of the cutover plan, timeline, and activity sequencing
- Coordinate testing outputs required for cutover entry criteria (e.g. SIT/UAT completion, regression)
- Track dependencies, risks, and readiness across workstreams
- Support mock cutovers / rehearsal activities to validate plans and refine execution
- Ensure alignment between:
- Testing completion
- Data migration readiness
- Integration validation
Data Validation & Reconciliation
- Coordinate execution of data migration validation and reconciliation activities
- Support identification and resolution of:
- Data quality issues
- Validation failures
- Duplicates or inconsistencies
- Ensure test data and production migration data are aligned and signed off
Cutover Execution Support
- Coordinate daily cutover activities during execution phase, ensuring sequencing and dependencies are met
- Support governance routines including:
- Daily stand-ups
- Issue tracking and escalation
- Go/No-Go checkpoint preparation
- Maintain visibility of:
- Task completion status
- Risks and issues
- Impact to timeline
- Support issue triage and resolution across functional and technical teams
Business Readiness & Go-Live Support
- Support readiness activities to ensure continuity of operations during transition
- Coordinate communications and stakeholder alignment for go-live
- Ensure completion of:
- Go-live checklist
- Readiness assessments
- Cutover runbooks
- Support Hypercare activities post go-live, including issue tracking and stabilisation

Governance, Reporting & Control
- Maintain cutover and testing dashboards, reporting on:
- Readiness status
- Risks and issues
- Defect trends
- Ensure alignment with governance standards and escalation paths
- Support auditability of testing and cutover activities
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience coordinating testing activities across enterprise systems or transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of:
- System testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, regression, E2E)
- Data validation and reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with cutover planning, readiness, and go-live support
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience supporting Workday or similar SaaS implementations
- Exposure to data migration and integration testing
- Knowledge of governance and programme delivery frameworks
- Experience supporting mock cutovers or large-scale system transitions
