ROLE: PADEL HOST AND CLUB MANAGER – FULL TIME

Location: The Club at Alswick, Alswick Hall Farm, Buntingford, Hertfordshire

Salary: TBD, OTE approx. £40-50k

Start Date: Autumn 2026


Details

We’re on the lookout for a friendly, energetic and proactive Padel Host & Club Manager to join our new padel and gym business. Set on a family farm in beautiful, rural Hertfordshire, The Club at Alswick comprises of 2 indoor padel courts, social hub, a membership gym and PT studio.

Reporting to the Club Director, you will work with the Gym Manager and Studio Manager on the operational running of the Club and delivery of a high quality experience for members and customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join an exciting new venture and make the position their own.

  • Being front-of-house for our newly-built Padel and Gym/Studio facility
  • Creating a welcoming and friendly environment for all club customers & members
  • Overseeing the booking platform and ensuring smooth session turnover
  • Growing and maintaining occupancy levels for the padel courts
  • Working with padel coaching staff to deliver a premium customer experience
  • Creating social media content and updates
  • Event management and community initiatives
  • Overseeing the café/bar area and managing stock
  • Managing staff rotas and working collaboratively with gym/studio management
  • Maintaining clean and safe courts and service areas

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in being active and growing the sport of padel
  • Basic knowledge or experience playing racket sports/padel
  • Organisational skills and managerial experience
  • Experience of running/working in events & customer service
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to “think outside the box”
  • Experience managing & creating social media content on all major platforms
  • Weekend availability is essential
