Job Opportunities in Theatre Nursing
We are currently recruiting for two permanent Theatre opportunities in Kent for experienced RGNs and ODPs with a background in Scrub.
Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub
- Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working Pattern: 4 days between Monday and Saturday, 07:30–18:00
- Salary: Negotiable
Key Requirements:
- Registered RN or ODP
- Proven Scrub experience
- Experience planning, organising and running surgical lists
- Experience supervising staff and scheduling operating lists
- Previous perioperative experience within an acute NHS or private hospital
- Strong leadership, communication and team-building skills
- General and orthopaedic surgical experience

Desirable:
- Practice Supervisor or Practice Assessor qualification
- Surgical First Assistant qualification
- Anaesthetics experience
Theatre Practitioner – RGN / ODP
- Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working Pattern: 07:30–18:00, Monday to Saturday
- Salary: Negotiable
Key Requirements:
- Current NMC or HCPC registration
- RGN or ODP
- Proven post-registration Scrub experience
- NHS or private hospital experience
- Strong commitment to patient-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Orthopaedic Scrub experience desirable
