About the Role
The theatre department has a state of the art facilities across the Trust.
We have twenty seven Adult and Obstetrics theatres within Northumbria NHS Foundation Trust covering a diverse range of both elective and emergency work in a variety of specialties including General Surgery, Robotics, Trauma and Orthopaedics and Obstetrics.
We have a position at Theatres at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital Cramlington.

Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for providing safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and after anaesthesia. The role combines the responsibilities of both an anaesthetic practitioner and a recovery practitioner, ensuring continuity of care throughout the perioperative pathway. A rotation into both areas will be provided to support training.
