About the Role
We are currently looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic, and friendly person, either RGN or ODP, to join our dynamic, fast-paced Acute Theatre Suite.
Our Specialties
- Wide and varied surgical specialties including Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Urology, and Paediatrics
- Covering Elective and Emergency procedures in all mentioned specialties
- Robotic Assisted Surgical Technology training pathways for specific theatre specialties and its team members
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work cohesively within the multidisciplinary team
- Evidence of continuing professional development
The Role
- Minimum of 12 months with the theatre surgical team
- Completion of the NHS Scotland Academy Accelerated Anaesthetic Practitioner programme (6 months course + 6 months consolidation)
- Multi-skilled theatre practitioner working across both the anaesthetic and surgical teams

Working Hours
- Shift and weekend work
- Rotational nights as required

Requirements
- Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment
- Legal entitlement to work in the United Kingdom (UK) or Ireland
