We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Theatre Practitioner, to join our small but highly motivated team at Purity Bridge, where we provide high-end aesthetic and plastic surgery at our clinic in Tunbridge Wells.
We are looking for a theatre practitioner for 30hrs per week, with experience in at least 2 of the 3 areas, scrub, anaesthetics and recovery. The successful candidate will be a team player, flexible in working both clinically in our day case operating suite and administratively, assisting the theatre lead in overseeing some of the administration required within the theatre suite.
As part of a small team not only would the role suit someone looking for variety in their day to day working but also, those who enjoying giving patients a more personalised service.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pre‑ and post‑operative areas and check emergency equipment
- Provide clinical support from admission through to discharge (skill dependent)
- Document patient care using paper and electronic systems
- Assist with day‑to‑day theatre activities and end‑of‑day close‑down
- Maintain ALS certification (training provided if required)
- Order pharmaceuticals, implants, and consumables as needed
- Complete quarterly drug audits (where required)
- Support administrative tasks and oversee annual medical device servicing
- Monitor and manage emergency equipment
Requirements
Essential:
- HCPC Registered ODP or NMC Registered Nurse with theatre experience
- Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience
- Competent in at least two areas: Anaesthetics, Scrub, Recovery
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage day‑to‑day theatre activity
- Effective problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise, and stay calm under pressure
- IT literate and committed to high‑quality care

Desirable:
- Ability to work across all three theatre specialities
- ALS certification
- IV drug administration/calculation training
- Experience with medical devices or infection control
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £20.50-£24.70 per hour commensurate with your experience
Expected hours: 30 per week
