Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) at Kings Mill Hospital and Newark
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our well-established team of practitioners.
About the Role
Kings Mill Hospital boasts 14 operating theatres, with an additional 2 at Newark, along with a minor operations suite. Our areas of coverage encompass various specialties including Obstetrics, Emergencies, Upper GI, Vascular, Breast, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, General, Colorectal, Orthopaedics, and Gynaecology.
Responsibilities
- Attending resuscitation calls
- ECT lists
- Cardioversion lists
- Intra/inter-hospital transfers
- Occasionally working at our Newark Hospital site
- Collaborating closely with the Clinical Education Department Leader to facilitate training in accordance with NMC/HCP standards and codes to ensure competency packs and our skills matrix remain current and up to date
