About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic radiographers to join our busy but friendly radiotherapy team. We have both permanent and fixed term opportunities at Band 5.
These posts will cover all aspects of the Radiotherapy treatment floor with opportunities to rotate through pre-treatment and brachytherapy. You will be a HCPC registered therapeutic radiographer or a final year student eligible for registration in 2026. We are looking for radiographers who have excellent communication skills and are passionate about delivering high quality patient focused care.
In order to cover the service needs, the post-holder will need to be able to work flexible shifts over the working week with normal hours between 07.30 and 20.00.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through all the clinical areas of the department under the direction of the area Team leaders and the Principal radiographers.
- Work as part of a team of staff to provide safe and accurate radiotherapy planning and treatment to our patients whilst maintaining confidentiality and dignity and delivering patient centred care.
- Comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality system for the department.
- Participate in audit, and the clinical research and development of techniques and equipment.
- Participate in the training and clinical education programme of student radiographers.
