We’re recruiting for a Therapies Lead
We’re recruiting for a Therapies Lead to join a specialist provision supporting autistic children and young people in Berkshire.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist or other qualified Allied Health Professional who is looking to take on a broader leadership role and help shape the future of a multidisciplinary therapies service.
You’ll lead and develop the therapies provision, working closely with education teams, families and external professionals to ensure therapeutic support is embedded meaningfully throughout the school day. The setting has a strong neuro-affirming, strengths-based and person-centred ethos, with a real focus on recognising each young person’s individuality, communication, wellbeing and engagement.
The Role will involve:
- Leading and developing the multidisciplinary therapies provision
- Supporting and developing therapists within the team
- Shaping the clinical and therapeutic strategy across the setting
- Embedding therapy into everyday learning and school life
- Working collaboratively with teachers, families and external professionals
- Contributing to whole-school development and strategic decision-making
- Promoting high-quality, neuro-affirming and person-centred practice

We’re looking for:
- A qualified Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist or other relevant AHP
- Experience working with autistic children and young people or within SEND / specialist education
- Leadership experience, or someone ready to take the next step into a leadership position
- A collaborative and reflective approach
- A genuine commitment to neuro-affirming practice
What’s on offer:
- £55,000–£65,000 salary depending on experience
- Band 7–8a equivalent
- Permanent, full-time position
