Description

Priory Hospital Glasgow are looking for 2 part time therapists on our Acute Therapy team.

Full Time Equivalent Accredited: £39,140

Full time Equivalent Un-accredited: £32,405

Part time: 22.5 hours

Priory Hospital Glasgow has an opportunity for a BACP registered Therapist to join our team. This role is offered on a Part Time basis working 22.5 hours per week. The salary we are offering for an accredited therapist £23,484 and for an un-accredited therapist £19,443.

Priory Hospital Glasgow, Glasgow is a specialist inpatient treatment centre providing support for mental health conditions and addictions, including depression treatment, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with local train stations nearby and easy access from Glasgow city centre, as well as motorway links.

What you'll be doing

You will join the team on the acute ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

  • Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking initial assessments to establish the scope, level and nature of the individual client’s therapeutic needs.
  • Leads and facilitates group and/or individual therapy sessions, ensuring activities and interventions continue to meet the needs of the clients, and are consistent with the provisions detailed in the clients’ therapy plan.
  • Manages, monitors and reviews an assigned caseload, ensuring delivery within the agreed timescales.

What you'll bring to the role

The candidate will be accredited with BACP/UKCP or BABCP. The successful candidate can be a CBT or Integrative Therapist, they should have experience of treating a wide range of conditions. We are particularly interested in people who have wide experience and can manage complex presentations. We have a group based therapy programme which runs to 28 hours a week (including Saturday morning) The successful candidate will be part of that programme and will be expected to have a caseload of out-patients. They will be part of a large and friendly team where this is lots of support. We are committed to continuous development within the therapy team and Priory encourages and will pay for appropriate training.
