Join our Forward Thinking Therapy Team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital

There are two permanent roles available - one full time and a part time (28 hours) role. Can you work as part of a team, being flexible and adaptable with good organisational skills? Are you reliable and conscientious?

Would you like to join the team in a physically demanding role, working under the supervision of HCPC registered staff (Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists), to support the smooth running of the service as part of a seven day service focused on patient centred care?

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in a relevant healthcare topic, or experience to an equivalent level, along with basic computer and manual handling skills. Good oral and written communication will be supported by numeracy and literacy qualifications and an empathetic approach to patients. Being a car driven is beneficial due to cross site working.

Responsibilities

  • To work under the supervision of a qualified Therapist (OT, Physiotherapy)
  • To support the smooth running of the Therapy team by performing a range of routine clinical clerical, administrational, housekeeping and departmental tasks.
  • To work directly with the therapists, or to carry out delegated duties.
  • To carry out routine treatment plans and activities, prescribed by the Therapists.
  • To participate in providing 7 day services and extended working day, as required by the service.
  • To work with the Therapists to ensure that they deliver the principles of patient centred care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
