Priory Hospital Woodbourne has an opportunity for a Therapy Services Administrator to join our team. You will manage the Therapy Reception area and ensure maximum professionalism at all times.
Priory Hospital Woodbourne, Edgbaston, Birmingham is a specialist inpatient and outpatient mental health service providing treatment for addictions and a range of mental health conditions, alongside assessments, therapy and psychiatry. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Woodbourne Road and Five Ways railway station approximately 1–2 miles from the hospital.

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

You will also be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Provide a welcoming and professional reception service, answering calls, handling queries, managing mail and maintaining a tidy reception area.
- Complete administrative duties, including patient records, security paperwork, data entry and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Support funding and billing processes by liaising with internal teams, purchasers and insurers, managing treatment charges, invoices and funding guarantees.
- Investigate and resolve queries, ensure accurate therapy costs and billing codes, and provide support and cover to the wider team and site as required.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
- Experience in an administrative role, with the ability to answer telephone calls professionally, deal confidently with customer queries and enquiries, and appropriately signpost or redirect queries to the relevant department.
