Join Our Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our experienced and motivated musculoskeletal physiotherapy team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated, friendly, and professional individual with excellent organisational and communication skills. This is a full-time post, and you will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.
You would be joining a diverse group of physiotherapists, assistants, clinical specialists, and the lead clinical academic for therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist qualified therapy staff to deliver patient care, assessment, and treatment including individual and group sessions.
- To carry out tasks, activities, and responsibilities delegated by a qualified therapist.
- To follow instructions of treating qualified therapist to treat patients following a designated treatment plan.
- To communicate with patients, carers, and relatives to obtain specific information as directed by the therapist.
- To deal sensitively and constructively with patients and carers who have high levels of anxiety, frustration, or aggression caused by a variety of issues, such as pain, poor prognosis, or limited mobility.
- Care Certificate competencies will need to be achieved within six months of commencement of employment.
- To develop and improve clinical and non-clinical competencies through a work-based development programme.
- To be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records in line with the legal requirements, trust guidelines, and professional standard of practice.
- Provide cover for colleagues as appropriate.
