Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Thermal Imaging Instructor to deliver professional thermography training programmes across multiple sectors. Knowledge of UAV applications is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will help learners understand infrared principles, thermal camera operation, data interpretation and practical inspection methodologies to comply and meet the standards of our accredited bodies.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accredited and non-accredited thermography training.
- Create engaging practical exercises and case studies.
- Teach thermal imaging theory and applications.
- Train learners in data acquisition and interpretation.
- Assess learner competency and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain training records and quality standards.
- Support development of new thermal imaging courses and associated course material.
- Provide consultancy and technical support where required.
- Assist in developing/documenting thermal inspection standards and best practice guidance.
- Assist with demonstrations, exhibitions and client engagement activities.
- Work with our Media & Content Assistant to support video production and e-learning programmes.
- Support our Service Division as required by the business under the direction of the Director of Training & Remote Sensing.

Essential Requirements
- Proven thermal imaging and inspection experience.
- Strong understanding of infrared theory.
- Experience delivering technical training.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work with learners from varying backgrounds and experience levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to:
- regularly travel throughout the UK to deliver various training courses.
- support overseas training programmes both in person and virtual.
Desirable Requirements
- Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Thermography certification.
- UAV thermal inspection experience.
- Building inspection experience.
- Electrical or engineering background.
- Experience preparing reports and consultancy outputs.
- Teaching and/or assessor qualifications.
- Experience working with corporate clients.

Hours of Work, Work Environment, and Potential Travel
The position is an onsite role, and you may be required to work both onsite and in field environments as directed by the Company.
The standard work schedule consists of 37.5 hours per week, typically performed Monday to Friday, subject to operational requirements.
From time to time, you may be required to maintain reasonable flexibility in working hours to support operational needs, time-sensitive activities, or business priorities.
This role may involve occasional travel within the UK as required to support training activities and business requirements.

This position is designed as both a technical and training pathway role.
We will support the successful candidate in developing their instructional capabilities with the goal of progressing to other instructional roles i.e. Remote Sensing and UAV.
This progression may include:
- Training delivery accreditation.
- Development of teaching and assessment skills.

- Industry conference speaking opportunities.
