System Aqua Ltd
Specialists in filtration systems for Zoo’s, Aquariums and the Aquaculture industry.
Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for the fabrication of water tanks, filtration components and pipework installation, both in our workshop and at our client's sites throughout the UK.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Workshop Fabrication: Construction of custom filtration systems, made from PP, PE and PVC along with installation of pipework systems using PVC-U, PP, PE and ABS.
- Plastic Welding: Execute high quality welding, including hot air welding, extrusion welding and pipe and sheet butt fusion welding.
- Pipefitting: Accurately measure, cut, prep, and join complex pipework using professional solvent cementing techniques.
- Design Reading: Work accurately from detailed engineering schematics and design drawings provided by the management team.
- Site Installation: Travel to sites to complete project installations, including brackets, clips, Unistrut and pipework along with tank welding.
- Quality Control: Ensure all pipework is clean, level, securely supported, and properly tested before handover.

Working Arrangement & Travel:
This role involves a mix of workshop and site-based work and would suit someone based in or around the Worthing area.
- You will be required to work away for a maximum of 5 day shifts at our customer's sites during the installation phases of our projects.
- A company van and fuel are provided for all business travel and site installations.
- Fully paid accommodation is provided for all overnight site work.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience in industrial plastic fabrication and process pipefitting.
- Strong proficiency in welding and pipefitting.
- Ability to accurately read and follow engineering/manufacturing drawings.
- Relevant qualifications would be beneficial, but time served and proven capability is required.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
