Help us strengthen the relationships behind our customer journeys
MoneyPlus helps people regain control of their finances through clear, practical support. We work with a range of external partners that can affect how customers reach us, how services are delivered and how well risks are managed.
We are looking for a Third Party Risk and Oversight Manager to provide an independent second line view of those relationships. You will help the business understand third party risk before arrangements go live and test how controls and customer outcomes operate once they are in place.
This is a manager level individual contributor role. Business owners will continue to manage their relationships and make the relevant decisions. You will provide practical advice, evidence based review, constructive challenge and clear escalation.
What you will do
- Build a clear view of material third parties, including the accountable owner, risk tier, evidence held and oversight required.
- Review and challenge due diligence, risk assessments and proposed controls during onboarding and material changes.
- Bring in specialist input on areas such as data protection, information security, resilience, conduct and regulatory permissions where needed.
- Plan and carry out risk based reviews, thematic work and targeted testing after relationships are live.
- Use management information, complaints, incidents, calls, files, lead sources, audit findings and customer outcomes to test whether arrangements work in practice.
- Track findings and actions, challenge ineffective remediation and escalate concerns where a relationship may need to be restricted, suspended or reconsidered.
- Provide clear reporting on decisions, exceptions, themes and emerging risks for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Give particular attention to introducers, marketing and lead generation partners, and ARs or IARs because of their potential impact on customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Helpful but not essential
- Direct third party risk management experience is useful, but the job title on your CV does not need to match. Experience in FCA regulated consumer finance, debt advice, introducer or AR oversight, outsourcing, offshore operations, data protection, information security or operational resilience would also be valuable.
