Principal Threat Intelligence Lead
Up to £100,000
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hybrid Working | London or Bristol
We're working exclusively with a leading UK organisation to appoint a Principal Threat Intelligence Lead for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a rare opportunity to join a mature cyber security function at a pivotal time, helping to shape and evolve enterprise-wide threat intelligence capabilities within a highly complex and visible environment.
Acting as the subject matter expert for Threat Intelligence, you'll be responsible for driving strategy, providing insight into emerging threats and ensuring intelligence directly influences cyber defence, risk management and business decision-making.
You'll work closely with Security Operations, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, Red Team and senior stakeholders across the organisation, helping to identify, assess and mitigate evolving cyber threats before they impact the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Defining and delivering the Threat Intelligence strategy and roadmap.
- Leading the collection, analysis and dissemination of strategic, operational and tactical threat intelligence.
- Identifying emerging threats, adversary activity and attack methodologies that could impact the organisation.
- Translating technical intelligence into meaningful business risk for senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Delivering intelligence briefings and actionable recommendations to support security decision-making.
- Working closely with Security Operations, Incident Response and Red Team functions to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
- Developing intelligence reporting, metrics and executive dashboards.
- Building relationships with external intelligence partners, industry bodies and information-sharing communities.
- Driving automation through Python development and API integrations.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of intelligence processes, tooling and capabilities.
- Mentoring and supporting other security professionals within the team.

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience within Cyber Threat Intelligence, ideally within a large enterprise environment.
- Experience leading Threat Intelligence programmes, functions or major initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the threat landscape, adversary tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
- Experience conducting strategic, operational and tactical intelligence analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced Python scripting and automation experience.
- Experience integrating security tools and platforms through APIs.
- Strong Power BI reporting and dashboard development experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- CISSP, GCTI or equivalent certifications would be advantageous.
