Job Title
A rare opportunity to work in a specialist volatility seat at a leading hedge fund. You'll be close to the front office, working on complex products with real influence over how the desk operates. The role will pay up to £120,000 + Bonus.
The role
- Capture and validate trades accurately and on time, clearing exceptions from new executions
- Support wider T0 Middle Office activity, delivering a timely
- Resolve queries from Portfolio Managers and counterparties
- Match and resolve economic breaks on electronic affirmation platforms, and manage risk on trades that fall outside them
- Support T+1, remediating prior-day issues and keeping stakeholders informed
- Escalate potential P&L-impacting errors to management and Operational Risk
- Work with PMs and technology to automate and streamline trade capture

- Hands-on experience supporting equity volatility products
- Wider equity derivatives and traded products knowledge
- Working knowledge of MarkitWire, Markit Trade Manager, and Bloomberg
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
