Company Overview
Our client, based in the Trafford area, are a precision engineering company who are now looking to expand the team and appoint a TIG Welder on a permanent basis.
Role Overview
The role will pay will be 30k (£15.60/hr PAYE), working a 4 day week Monday to Thursday. Though core duties are TIG Welding, you will also be required to carry out other duties like brazing, soldering, drilling or basic assembly when required.

- Salary: 30k per annum
- Location: Trafford
- Working Week: 4 days, Monday to Thursday
- Shifts:
- 6.00 am - 3.45 pm
- 6.30 am - 4.15 pm
- 7.00 am - 4.45 pm (37 hours per week)
Duties
- TIG welding SS & exotic metals.
- Soldering, brazing and other duties as required.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand the specifications of components and assemblies.
- Using inspection equipment to monitor quality of components produced.
- Complete paperwork as per the company quality system.
- Ensure all products manufactured and assembled meet quality standards.
- Flexible working within other Manufacturing areas to meet workload demands.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years working as a TIG welder.
- Time served or relevant experience in TIG welding.
- Mechanical engineering problem solving.
- Engineering units along with thread sizes, flanges, pipe fittings etc. is an advantage.
- Must be flexible to move to different areas and do things other than welding when needed.
