About The Role
Pertemps Redditch Industrial seeks an experienced TIG Welder for a permanent, full-time position in Redditch, paying between £34,500 and £38,334 annually. Working 38 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:45, Friday 07:00-12:00), the successful candidate will produce high-quality components for the Aerospace sector.
Duties
- Manual and orbital welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets, and related parts
- Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, and aluminium
Responsibilities
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Setting up and maintaining welding equipment
- Performing inspections using measurement tools

Hourly rates range from £17.46 to £19.40, dependent on experience. Prior experience in this discipline is essential for this role.

Location: Redditch
Working Hours: 07:00 to 15:45 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 12:00 Friday (38 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: £17.46 – £19.40 per hour, depending on experience

An experienced TIG Welder required to join our team, working on high-quality components and assemblies for the Aerospace industry. The role will involve both manual and orbital TIG welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets, and other components.

TIG Welder - Key Responsibilities
- Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding to a high standard.
- Follow engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications, and standard work instructions.
- Set up, operate, maintain, and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
- Use inspection and measurement equipment, including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers, and micrometres.
Previous TIG welding experience is essential. Experience with orbital TIG welding would be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will have the ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
