About The Role

Pertemps Wolverhampton Temps seeks a skilled TIG Welder & Fabricator for a full-time engineering role in Wolverhampton. Pertemps Wolverhampton are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering environment.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of fabrication methods, machinery and engineering practices.

The Role Will Involve

  • TIG welding and general fabrication
  • Building and repairing conveyors for production lines
  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems
  • Maintaining conveyors to ensure production lines continue running efficiently
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and fabrication issues
  • Working with a range of fabrication tools, machinery and equipment
  • Supporting general engineering and maintenance requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Proven TIG welding experience
  • Strong fabrication skills and knowledge of fabrication methods
  • Experience building, repairing and maintaining machinery
  • Experience working with conveyors or production-line equipment
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The ability to travel when required

A company vehicle will be available from time to time for work-related travel.

The starting rate is £16.00 per hour, with the hourly rate negotiable depending on the candidate's skill level and experience.
