Role Description
The TikTok Shop Intern will support the development and execution of TikTok Shop strategies to promote True Pitch Media’s podcasts and related merchandise. This internship role is remote and involves assisting with content planning, creating short-form video and product-focused clips, and uploading and managing listings on TikTok Shop. The intern will help track performance metrics, optimize product descriptions and visuals, and coordinate with the production and marketing teams to align TikTok efforts with podcast releases and campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include basic research on trends, engaging with followers in the comments, and suggesting improvements for content and storefront presentation.

Qualifications

- Familiarity with TikTok, TikTok Shop, and short-form video trends, including basic content creation and editing skills.
- Interest in sports, entertainment, and podcasting, with an understanding of online audiences and fan communities.
- Ability to write clear, concise product descriptions and social captions, with strong attention to detail.
- Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and communicating reliably with a distributed team.
- Basic analytical skills to review engagement and sales data and suggest simple optimization ideas.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with social media management, e-commerce platforms, or digital content creation is a plus.
