I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ABOUT THE ROLE
TikTok is one of the fastest-growing engines for MESHKI's brand and commercial growth, and this role owns it end-to-end. As TikTok Lead (AU), you'll take full ownership of the channel: shaping content strategy, leading a talented creator team, and turning platform insights into culturally relevant, high-performing content. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes TikTok, who can spot a trend before it peaks, and who wants to build something with real commercial impact, on a platform where MESHKI's next chapter of growth is already unfolding.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia - we are open to sponsorship and relocation for the right hire.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Owning the TikTok channel end-to-end, including feed planning, content direction, publishing cadence, and overall channel performance
- Driving sustainable channel growth through data-led strategy, audience insights, and platform optimisation
- Leading and developing the TikTok content team, providing clear creative direction and regular coaching
- Improving key performance metrics, including engagement rate, views, watch time, and follower growth
- Ensuring all content is fully optimised across SEO, hooks, editing, captions, and platform best practices
- Proactively monitoring TikTok trends, algorithm updates, and platform shifts to keep MESHKI ahead of the curve
- Building and nurturing an engaged TikTok community, with content aligned to global trade calendar initiatives and a strong focus on the U.S. market
- Partnering closely with Social, Creative, Brand, Trade, and Influencer teams to ensure TikTok is fully integrated into key brand and commercial moments
- Delivering regular performance reporting with clear insights and optimisation recommendations
