Drophouse is a live commerce company based in Nantwich.
We create and run live shopping shows across TikTok and other platforms, bringing together products, entertainment and content for audiences across the UK.
Our flagship tech channel, TechDrops, is growing quickly and weโre looking for new hosts to join the team.
This isnโt a traditional retail job.
You wonโt be working on a shop floor or reading from a script. Youโll be in our studio, on camera, talking to a live audience, demonstrating products, reacting to comments and helping turn viewers into customers.
If youโre confident, quick-thinking and good with people, weโll help you learn the rest.
WHAT YOUโLL DO
Youโll host live shopping shows from the Drophouse studio, mainly for TechDrops and other channels as they launch.
Your role will include:
- Hosting live shows and becoming one of the faces of our channels
- Presenting and demonstrating products in an engaging way
- Talking to the audience and responding to comments in real time
- Building excitement around products, offers and new drops
- Helping convert viewers into customers
- Working with the team on show ideas, formats and segments
- Creating short-form content around the shows
- Reviewing what works and finding ways to improve each broadcast

You donโt need a specific background for this role.
You might have experience in sales, retail, hospitality, presenting, content, events, acting or streaming. You might not.
What matters most is that youโre comfortable speaking to people and have the personality to hold an audienceโs attention.

Youโre comfortable being on camera and speaking to a live audience.
Quick-thinking
You can react to comments, questions and unexpected moments without losing your flow.
Engaging
You have a natural energy and can make people want to keep watching.
Commercially minded
You understand that the aim is not just to entertain. Itโs also to sell.
Interested in online culture
You understand TikTok, trends and what makes content work online.
YOU DONโT NEED
- A presenting qualification
- A large social media following
- Professional broadcasting experience
- Years of sales experience
- A polished presenter voice
Weโre more interested in your personality, confidence and potential than a perfect CV.

Youโll work with presenters, producers, e-commerce, warehouse and operations teams. Everyone plays a part in making the shows work, and good ideas can move quickly from conversation to reality.

Live shopping is still developing in the UK, and weโre building the team and formats that will shape where it goes next.
For the right person, this can grow beyond simply presenting shows. As Drophouse expands, there will be opportunities to become a recognisable face of a channel, help develop new formats and take on more responsibility across our live content.
Salary + performance-based bonuses
Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Based at the Drophouse studio in Nantwich.
