TikTok Media Buying Team Lead
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a TikTok Media Buying Team Lead based in United Kingdom.
This is a fully remote, full-time leadership opportunity within a fast-growing media buying and iGaming environment. You will lead a team of media buyers while taking ownership of traffic quality, budgets, testing strategies, and marketing performance. The role combines people management with hands-on expertise in TikTok Ads and performance marketing. You will shape team roadmaps, develop marketing hypotheses, and oversee funnels from testing through execution. Collaboration with design, development, finance, and other teams will be central to delivering scalable campaigns. The position is suited to an experienced media buying leader who enjoys autonomy, ambitious targets, experimentation, and continuous professional growth.
Accountabilities
- Lead and manage a team of media buyers, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, coaching, and development.
- Establish clear objectives and priorities for the media buying team and ensure consistent execution.
- Monitor traffic volumes, quality, performance, and overall campaign effectiveness.
- Develop, manage, and align budget plans to support business and marketing objectives.
- Create team roadmaps and tactical plans covering campaign execution, testing, optimization, and growth.
- Develop marketing hypotheses and oversee the planning and execution of structured tests.
- Analyze test results and use performance insights to guide future campaign and budget decisions.
- Build, monitor, and optimize marketing funnels to improve acquisition performance.
- Take ownership of TikTok media buying strategy and execution across relevant campaigns and markets.
- Ensure campaigns follow applicable compliance requirements for gambling and performance advertising.
- Identify opportunities to improve traffic acquisition, campaign efficiency, and team performance.
- Work closely with design teams to develop and optimize creative approaches for paid social campaigns.
- Collaborate with development and technical teams on tools, tracking, automation, and campaign infrastructure.
- Coordinate with finance and other business functions on budgets, performance, and operational requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of scalable media buying processes and best practices.
- Stay informed about TikTok Ads developments, paid social trends, and emerging acquisition opportunities.
- Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce repetitive operational work and improve team efficiency.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with TikTok Ads and paid social media buying.
- Previous management experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or in a comparable leadership position.
- At least 2 years of experience in the iGaming industry.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, traffic acquisition, campaign optimization, and marketing funnels.
- Practical experience with anti-detect browsers or software, tracking platforms, and cloaking technologies.
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements and restrictions applicable to gambling advertising.
- Experience developing and testing marketing hypotheses using structured performance data.
- Ability to plan and manage advertising budgets effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- Ability to recruit, onboard, motivate, evaluate, and develop media buying professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of ownership, initiative, and willingness to work independently.
- Comfortable collaborating with creative, technical, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Experience with other traffic acquisition channels would be advantageous.
- Having an established team of media buyers would be a plus.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI would be beneficial.
- Experience with automation tools, including the TikTok Ads API or bulk campaign-management tools, would be advantageous.
- Experience creating automation or technical projects using scripting, APIs, or similar tools would be a plus.
