Responsibilities
About the team:
The UK MAI (Merchant Acquisition and Incubation) team operates within the SMB pillar of TikTok E-commerce, spearheading the acquisition and onboarding journey for new sellers.
The team is responsible for UK TikTok Shop merchants and merchandise growth, aiming to onboard, incubate, educate merchants from scratch and drive their business success.
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least 3 months long internship period.
Responsibilities
- Campaign Operations: Support the planning, execution, management, and ongoing optimization of ShopTab campaigns. Document campaign methodologies and cross-functional workflows, and conduct post-campaign reviews. Coordinate the delivery of creative assets, including H5 campaign landing pages, search banners, posters, and stickers, while assisting with traffic resource allocation and campaign documentation.
- ShopTab Channel Operations: Support the planning and day-to-day operations of ShopTab marketing and always-on channels. Help develop channel operation guidelines and drive the effective execution of channel strategies. Assist in optimizing product assortment to improve the diversity and competitiveness of product offerings. Monitor key channel metrics and operational performance, identify issues and pain points, and work with the team to develop optimization plans and solutions.
- Product Supply Strategy Support: Track UK consumer market trends and identify relevant industry developments, trending products, and changes in consumer demand. Analyze ShopTab’s product supply and assortment, identify opportunities and gaps, and provide data-driven insights to support product supply and ShopTab strategy development.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s, with working proficiency in English and the ability to handle basic day-to-day workplace communication;
- Available for a 4–6 month internship, at least four days per week;
- Strong data analysis and data-mining skills, with good sensitivity to e-commerce data. Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and commonly used functions; SQL skills are preferred;
- Strong interest in e-commerce, ShopTab operations, and product strategy, with structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills. Previous internship experience in e-commerce operations, product strategy, strategy, business analysis, or project management is preferred;
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented, responsible, and quick to learn, with the ability to respond efficiently to business needs in a fast-paced environment.
